Around the Fire
This is probably my favorite time of the year. The time when summer is ending and fall weather is starting to make it’s way in. We enjoy sitting out by the fire on cooler nights.

Our Venus Fly Trap caught a spider!
I recently bought a Venus Fly Trap. We’ve been waiting for days to see it catch something. Figured it would be a fly (duh) or something similar. Nope, it caught a freaking spider! How cool is that?! Here is a pic of the whole plant on the day I bought it.

Oh Christmas Tree!
Happy word-less/ish/ful Wednesday (a little early)! Today I’m sharing a picture of our tree. When we went to the tree farm to pick our tree, they told us it’s called a Concolor tree. I’ve never had a tree quite like this before. It smells like oranges!

Beautiful Butterfly
I saw this beautiful little butterfly just the other day. I think it’s called a ‘Red Spotted Purple Butterfly’. Not totally sure though because when I tried to Google it, it gave me a few different names. Pretty either way!
