The snow is really coming down. G is out of school, obviously, so we get to enjoy the day together. We will probably go out and build a snowman or two which will be fun!
The power hasn’t gone out yet, thank goodness. It does keep flickering though, just enough to irk me. The satellite dish is covered in snow too, so we have been watching DVD’s and playing a couple of video games together. We’ll probably break out a few board games later too. I love that G is old enough now to play some of the games we enjoy.
If we do lose power, it will be just fine. We’re totally prepared for it. I filled the bathtub up earlier so we have water just in case. We learned our lesson from the last storm we had and bought a kerosene heater so we won’t freeze. And we have plenty of fun things to do if we get bored.
The snow really is beautiful, and I couldn’t resist taking pictures of it this morning.
I’m thinking that all the snow on that power line is why our power keeps flickering on and off.
You can barely see my car! ^
Believe it or not, there’s a road in that picture. ^
I plan on taking more pictures once the snow has stopped. It’ll be interesting to see just how much we end up getting. How is the weather where you are?
