I recently started participating in BlogHer’s NaBloPoMo January 2013 challenge. We are discussing superheros this week and the writing prompt for today is, As a superhero, would you rather have extreme strength or extreme speed?
Although extreme strength would be a nice superpower to have, I would definitely prefer to have extreme speed. I could sleep in and enjoy dreamland a little longer since it would take no time to get ready in the mornings. I could clean the house in seconds flat. I could skip the stress of traffic and just run right past. Not to mention the gas money I would save by doing so.
With so many demands on our time, having extreme speed sure would make life easier.
How about you?
Would you rather have extreme strength or extreme speed?

I see your benefits, but i stick with my answer of strength 🙂

Do you think that you would have to work up to the stamina of doing that?

Not sure. I would probably be super skinny though 🙂

Haha! One of my things about wanting speed was to get the house clean faster, too!

I’m going to go with strength too. But not just physical strength but also mental strength!

Extreme speed! I would get a bajillion more errands done in one day, hehe. Finding time is my biggest issue and that extra speed would certainly help!

Well, if I were a vampire I would have both. 😉 Haha. I would probably agree with you about the speed. Super-strength would be great, but not sure what I would do with it. Speed, on the hand, man I could have the house clean, blogging time, and time to spend with my kids (all of which I should be doing anyway, but it’s hard!), all while getting a good night’s sleep and enough exercise!

I would choose strength just to stay strong for my kids- they are hard to keep up with and think strength is better than speed.
As I sit here looking at all the things I did not have time to get done, extreme speed. I am lucky to work from home and yet still do not have enough hours in the day to take care of household chores.
