Through the Valley Love Endures

Right before our move I had visitors. I don’t remember when I acknowledged them, but they appeared as very bright glowing figures and they were beautiful.

“Who are you and why are you here?” I asked them. They didn’t say anything, but somehow made me feel connected to them in ways words could never fully express. They would appear completely out of the blue, and for some reason appeared to try to comfort me.

“Okay, you guys can come, but I wanna know why you want to go with me?” I asked them.

Silence!

“Fine, don’t tell me, but don’t think I’m gonna share my coloring books then,” I replied.

All I knew was that they were beautiful and peaceful, and I found strength to face my fears with them around. Even though I was young and having an emotional time with the move, they made me feel better. In my tears I felt comforted. I was now ready to face the move to a different state, but it was the calm before the storm.
