I have received information and products from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNeil-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks. All opinions are 100% my own.
It’s always a terrible feeling when the little ones get sick. The worst for me was when B was younger. She would keep getting fevers and even got a couple UTIs. One day, her fever reached 104.5 and I took her to the emergency room, completely panicked. I had never seen a temperature so high!
Turns out she had something called vesicoureteral reflux. Luckily, it isn’t serious and should eventually correct itself. She just has to take medicine for it every single day to prevent UTIs. That I can deal with, but I couldn’t stand to see my baby feeling so miserable and not know what was wrong with her or how to help her. I was so happy once we knew what it was and how to fix it. And that first “feel better” smile…..
After everything she had been through, there was no better feeling than seeing that smile.
Unfortunately, with so many children living in poverty, kids across the country struggle because they can’t get to the doctor. That’s where the TYLENOL® Brand comes in. They are spreading the smile of good health across the country with the SMILING IT FORWARD™ program.
The power of SMILING IT FORWARD™ was set in motion recently by How I Met Your Mother star and social media mother of two, Alyson Hannigan.
“Because that “feel better” smile means so much to moms and TYLENOL®, I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ to help spread the smile of good health to children who don’t have access to healthcare. Like a lot of moms, I love sharing photos of my girls’ beautiful smiles. So why not use these adorable pictures for a good cause?” – Mom Ambassador, Alyson Hannigan
Here’s what you do – share a photo that makes you smile and TYLENOL® will make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund (up to $100,000).* Such a simple way to make a difference!
*Between September 17, 2013 and January 31, 2014, McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®, is inviting anyone 18 and older to share a photo that makes them smile on SmilingItForward.com. Each photo approved & shared will trigger a $1.00 donation from TYLENOL® to Children’s Health Fund, with a minimum donation of $75,000 and a maximum donation of $100,000.
