Do you participate in Black Friday or Cyber Monday? How about Giving Tuesday?
For those that don’t know, Giving Tuesday takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, December 2, 2014. It’s a day to give time or money to a cause or person you care about, or even a complete stranger. Anything from shoveling your neighbor’s driveway after it snows, to writing a note of encouragement to someone who inspires you, or you could even go online and find a GiveForward recipient who inspires you.
Making a difference in someone’s life is easier than you think.
GiveForward is a great way to help those in need, and their mission is simple.
To inspire people to help each other through generosity and compassion.
I was just recently introduced to GiveForward through That Bald Chick, and there is a fundraiser on GiveForward that is very near and dear to her heart, Carrying the Shah’s.
As you can see, GiveForward is a wonderful online fundraising website for medical expenses.
In Black Friday and Cyber Monday’s predatory wake, Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to true giving. Giving Tuesday’s goal is to boost humanity rather than the economy.
If you’re in a position to help out, please take a minute to visit GiveForward to make a difference in the lives of those in need this holiday season.
Giving Tuesday is one of my favorite days of the year. We try and make meals for families that are super busy!

This is a great way for ordinary people to raise money when they’re in need of help. Before you had to get lawyers and banks involved. It’s so easy now.

It should be Giving Yearound, not just one day. I love hearing about people donating to animal shelters, food pantries, etc. It’s nice to know there are good people out there who pay it forward when they can.
