This post brought to you by The Real Tooth Fairies.
The Tooth Fairy is a favorite family tradition celebrated by millions of families around the world. What isn’t to love about the fun and exciting rite of passage that makes a lost tooth a magical moment for a child? It makes a potentially scary event into a thrilling moment for children.
The Real Tooth Fairies website is an exciting online world inviting kids (ages 5-10 years) to explore their imaginations in a magical world of 40 different attractions. This free, interactive online world was created to celebrate your child’s unique accomplishments and inspire acts of kindness that your child can do in your family.
The journey into Real Fairyland begins when you register for free and create your own avatar—a way for each child to create an online likeness of herself or himself. The avatar will follow your child throughout the 40 adventures in this award-winning digital world.
From there, each child will be matched with one of the six different Real Tooth Fairies and invited into the magical world of Real Fairyland. Through this new found friendship, kids are guided through the site’s various games, challenges and activities. Kids love to make their Dream Tree (where the Tooth Fairy takes your teeth), grow their own musical Lost Tooth Garden, and they can even send messages to their Tooth Fairy asking for personalized Tooth Fairy letters to be delivered to their pillow (with parent permission).
Each child who joins The Real Tooth Fairies will also be encouraged to participate in the “Every Kindness Counts” program. This engaging pro-social activity suggests acts of kindness like helping with laundry, carrying in groceries, asking someone new to play and leaving encouraging notes for family members.
Each time an act is completed, a child will receive a free virtual Kindness Ribbon. After earning 6 ribbons, she/he receives a Kindness Charm that can be viewed online. Besides providing fun rewards, this program helps kids develop empathy and experience the joy in thinking of others.
Finally, as if all of the above wasn’t enough, The Real Tooth Fairies allows parents to rest easy knowing that their children will be playing in a kidSAFE+ certified online environment while using this site.
This favorite site of millions of families is free to join so you can get started with the Tooth Fairy magic today by visiting www.therealtoothfairies.com.

That is such a cute book! I think my daughter would love it. Also, is it just me, or do those fairies remind anyone else of Jem?

This is such a GREAT idea! My daughter has so many questions about the tooth fairy. I had to make up a whole identity for her years ago. I would have preferred to go to this site. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be sure to tell my friends about it!
