My girls love to draw, paint, do crafts and pretty much any other artsy type thing you can think of. Create Abilities for Kids offers age-appropriate art kits designed for ages three, four, or five. My oldest is seven and my youngest is two. I had originally planned on having both kids try the projects together. I figured even though the kits were geared towards someone younger, G would still enjoy helping her little sister with it. B didn’t quite have the attention span for it though. I’m pretty sure G didn’t mind, considering how much fun she seemed to be having doing it on her own.
Once subscribed, Create Abilities for Kids will deliver art kits to your door containing projects for the whole month. Each kit includes all of the art materials necessary to complete each project. They even include the glue, which is great for us since G’s enthusiasm for arts and crafts often results in not being able to find the glue when we need it. She is really good at hiding it from herself.
The kit we received included two different projects, Airplane in the Sky and a Turkey. Many of their art projects focus on holidays or seasons. These particular kits were sent this month because of Thanksgiving and the fact that November is Aviation History Month.
If you can’t tell from the picture above, she really enjoyed herself! I like that each project also contains talking points to go along with the subject matter to help further enhance learning.
Another great thing about these art kits is that they include a big sheet of brown paper to do the projects on. It really makes clean up a breeze! All I had to do is roll everything up in the paper and carry it to the garbage can.
G’s favorite project was the Turkey. She had a lot of fun gluing all those feathers on and learning fun facts about Thanksgiving.
There was extra paint leftover from both projects, which worked out nicely. After G finished the last project she was able to create even more art on her own.
Create Abilities for Kids makes it easy to enjoy quality time with your children, and for them to learn while having fun!
