NaBloPoMo – January 2013 – Theme: Energy
Prompt: What is your favorite song that gives you energy?
Let’s see, there are actually quite a few songs that give me energy. I have a playlist on my phone that I listen to when I’m cleaning the house that gives me that extra boost I need to get things done.
I’m generally a rock & roll type gal, but one song that I always find myself half cleaning, half dancing to is “On the Floor” by Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull.
I would love to know – What is your favorite song that gives you energy?
Hmm idk. I’m probably alone in this but I’m not one to listen to a whole lot of fast or upbeat music. I’ve never been much of a dancer and most upbeat music seems like dancing music to me. I’m more into emotional or “feely” type songs.

I’m not sure. Quite is generally what gives me energy because I get so little of it – LOL!

I don’t have a favorite song, but I love the Beastie Boys, Janis Joplin, Alanis, Zach Brown Band and many more. For me to listen to music it has to energize and inspire me to DO something – whether it is dance, sing, or clean!

Move It from the Madagascar movies. And also anything that has has great upbeat tempo and that I feel like kicking up my heels and dancing to!
I like music with a great beat as well. I have such a large mix that I can’t always choose only one song.
